When:  Thursday, November 9, 6-7 p.m.
Where:  Virtual presentation via Zoom

Join Emma Haydocy, Florida Policy Manager at Surfrider Foundation (and Upper Keys BPW member), as she shares the inner workings of our Florida state legislature and how we as individuals can impact state policies.

Emma will explain how things get done in Tallahassee -- when new bills get written, presented and voted upon -- and how to stay informed about what's happening at each step. She will also offer practical guidance on the most effective actions we can take to advocate for the issues we care about. We will reserve time at the end of the presentation to address questions from the attendees.

You don't want to miss this information-rich session from an experienced policy advocate with an insider's view of the current Florida legislature!

Zoom link will be provided via email once you register.

This virtual event is open to BPW members and non-members statewide at no cost. Feel free to share the link!

In lieu of a registration fee, please consider making a donation to support the Upper Keys BPW Adult Women's Scholarship Fund and other programs designed to empower women in our community.

Thank you!
